Journey into the Jungle Book is the original show at Animal Kingdom. This recording was taken in the Theater of the Wild, which is where Dino-land U.S.A. currently resides. It only ran for one year closing in April 1999. The show incorporated new costumes referred to as humanimals. A clever combination of large puppetry and a trampoline brought the animated classic to life. This show was delightful, right down to the tinkling wolf. Journey into the Jungle Book was recorded on my family camcorder in 1998. The quality isn't the best, but it does give a lot of insight of how things were back then.
