Dr. Kamal Raj Gosai is an esteemed ecologist and academician based in Nepal, specializing in biodiversity conservation, behavioral ecology, and climate change. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. Dr. Gosai earned his MSc from Tribhuvan University, focusing on Biodiversity Conservation and Management. He further advanced his studies by obtaining a PhD in Ecology from Guangxi University, China.

Avian Research. Avian Studies: Investigating bird behavior, distribution, and the impacts of urbanization on avian species.Climate Change: Studying the effects of climate change on ecosystems and species distribution. Dr. Gosai has contributed significantly to the scientific community through numerous publications. Notably, he co-authored a study on the unprecedented sighting of the Greater White-fronted Goose in the Kathmandu Valley, marking a historic record for the region.
