Joyville 2 just came out and it was such a huge improvement over the first game that I thought it would be cool to combine both chapters into one video. The difference is staggering and I think someday chapter 1 might benefit from a remaster. The first chapter starts out with a lot of influences from other Mascot Horror games like Poppy Playtime, but with chapter 2 it really turns into its own unique thing.
Lumina is a great new addition to the character roster complete with voice acting. Chapter 2 also has several cutscenes that are great and animated. And the look and feel of chapter 2 is just so much more unique and colorful that I am hyped to see where chapter 3 will lead us towards. There were a few chase sequences and puzzles that were a bit hard and since the release chapter 2 has been patched to make those a bit easier. I guess I got really lucky on beating those when they were still hard, but I am glad that now more people get to enjoy this. Hopefully the new character in chapter 3 will be even better than Lumina.
