This is a video of trains arriving and departing one after another at the Osaka Loop Line platform at JR Tennoji Station in Japan (holidays and evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm). In addition to the Osaka Loop Line (local train, 323 series), the Yamatoji Rapid service that runs directly to the Yamatoji Line, and the Kansai Airport Rapid and Kishu Rapid services that run directly to the Hanwa Line, the Kuroshio and Haruka express trains on the neighboring platform are also in the picture. The Haruka is a Hello Kitty Haruka train.
The Osaka Loop Line local train, 323 series, also shows trains with Expo decorations and trains with decorations featuring characters from USJ's Super Nintendo World (Mario, Luigi, etc.).
JR Tennoji Station has many platforms, and this photo was taken from platforms 11 to 14 on the Osaka Loop Line. The Osaka Loop Line platform is a two-sided, three-track platform, with the middle track bordering on both sides of platforms 12 and 13.
Platforms 11 and 12 are for Tsuruhashi and Kyobashi, and platforms 13 and 14 are for Shin-Imamiya and Nishikujo, but platform 13 is for disembarking only.
At this time, the Kansai Airport-Kishuji Rapid Service bound for Tennoji, which has made a full loop around the Osaka Loop Line, arrives on the middle track and, after stopping for a while, turns around and heads towards Tsuruhashi and Kyobashi as the Kansai Airport-Kishuji Rapid Service.
After arriving at platform 14, the Yamatoji Rapid Service bound for Tennoji proceeds to a siding before turning around and departing from platform 11.
Other Loop Line local trains and Yumesaki Line direct trains bound for Sakurajima depart from platforms 11 and 14 for their respective directions.
Yamatoji Rapid and Kansai Airport/Kishuji Rapid trains departing from platforms 11 and 12 make a full circle and pass through Tennoji Station again, so when they depart Tennoji Station, they are marked as "Local/Osaka Loop Line". Local trains bound for Sakurajima that run directly to the Yumesaki Line also take a detour from this station, so to avoid getting on the wrong train, they are marked as "Local/Osaka Loop Line", and when they depart, they are marked as "Sakurajima".
