The closed cartridge pressurised Direct Damping System uses 20mm diameter displacing pistons with 8mm piston rods keeping the fluid displacement and piston rod forces low in all positions of the stroke. the damping forces are controlled by displacing pistons passing fluid through the 31mm diameter control pistons giving a high flow for precise damping control.
The damping system uses the left hand leg for compression damping and the right hand leg for rebound damping making each circuit independent for adjustment, the system is pressurised by a spring force in the bottom of each leg which keeps the system very stable under extreme conditions giving ultimate feel and confidence to the rider in competitive racing conditions.
