This is the story of an honest farmer who loved his family very much. He used to work day and night in his fields for their happiness. Then one day the landlord of his village calls him and gives him a job. In return for that job, he gives him 20 acres of his land for farming. But his neighbours get jealous of this and they set fire to the landlord's field. Then after 2 days, the landlord goes to Laxman to take his share of the crop. But the entire crop had been burnt. So Laxman is unable to give him anything. Then the landlord throws Laxman out of his house and also grabs his land. Then Laxman gets sad and goes to another village. He works at a grocery shop there. He learns all the work in 3 years. Then he comes back to his village and opens a small grocery shop of his own.
