Khawaja Ghulam Fareed (1845–1901) was a prominent Sufi saint, poet, and scholar from the Punjab region, now part of Pakistan. He was born in the village of Chacharan Sharif. A descendant of the renowned Sufi saint, Hazrat Khawaja Moeenuddin Chishti, Fareed's spiritual lineage was deeply rooted in the Chishti order. His poetry, written in Punjabi, reflects his mystical philosophy, focusing on divine love, spiritual awakening, and the unity of humanity. Fareed's teachings emphasized simplicity, humility, and devotion to God. His work, especially the Kalam-e-Fareed, remains influential in Sufi circles and continues to inspire spiritual seekers.
