The most popular temple in Chitrakoot is Kamadgiri. One can go here anytime of the day and do the parikrama of the hill surrounding the temple. Its pious and recommended (barefoot). on the Halfway of parikrama, there i laxman hill. One should go there to get the best view of the surrounding areas. From the vantage point, its totally open and flat. Highly recommended when the weather is cool specially in monsoons. It takes around 3-4 hrs to complete the whole parikrama at medium pace.
