Hellos! Hope you’re all doing well. Get ready for the most magical moment of the holiday season in Kansas City! The 2024 Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Crown Center was a spectacular event, featuring local entertainment, star-studded appearances, and breathtaking fireworks. In this video, I'll take you through the heart-warming moments from this beloved Kansas City tradition, from the countdown led by Mayor Quinton Lucas and Hallmark stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes to the awe-inspiring fireworks that lit up the night sky. Plus, discover the new Hallmark Christmas Experience that’s spreading holiday cheer across the city! The highlight of the evening was the lighting of one of the largest Christmas trees in the nation, which stood tall at Crown Center Square, glowing brightly in the night sky. As the tree lit up, a dazzling fireworks display filled the air, bringing smiles to everyone in attendance. But the Mayor’s Christmas Tree is more than just a holiday decoration—it’s also a symbol of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund. This fund raises money to help Kansas City residents in need throughout the holiday season, making the event a true celebration of giving back to the community. As part of the Hallmark Christmas Experience, the festivities don’t stop after the lighting ceremony. All season long, Crown Center will host nightly tree lightings, light shows, and special guest appearances that will keep you in the holiday spirit. And after the season ends, the wood from the Mayor’s Christmas Tree will be transformed into commemorative ornaments, which are sold to continue supporting the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree will remain on display at Crown Center Square from November 29, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Be sure to visit Crown Center Customer Service (Level 2 of the Crown Center Shops) to get your 2024 Mayor’s Christmas Tree Ornament, "O Christmas Tree," beginning November 29th. It's the perfect way to remember this magical holiday season while helping those in need.
