ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 2025-26ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಇಂದು (ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 7, 2025) ಮಂಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಅವರ ದಾಖಲೆಯ 16ನೇ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಜೆಟ್ ಮಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಬಜೆಟ್ ಗಾತ್ರವು 4 ಲಕ್ಷ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಿದ್ದು, ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ 52,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಯಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಬಹಳ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಗರಿಗೆದರಿವೆ.ಬಜೆಟ್ ಮಂಡನೆಗೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ (ಹಿಂದೆ ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್) ಪೋಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, "ಬಜೆಟ್ ಎಂಬುದು ಬರಿ ಹಾಳೆಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಲ್ಲ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಏಳು ಕೋಟಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಕೈಪಿಡಿ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆ" ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to present the state's budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year today, marking his 16th budget presentation—a record in the state's history. The budget is anticipated to have an outlay exceeding ₹4 lakh crore, up from the ₹3.71 lakh crore allocated in the current fiscal year.
In the previous 2024-25 budget, ₹52,000 crore was allocated to the government's five guarantee schemes. This year, the challenge lies in balancing the funding for these welfare initiatives with the need for infrastructure development. Reports suggest that the government may increase borrowings to finance developmental projects, with expectations that borrowings could surpass ₹1.25 lakh crore.
