Kasam (2001) is an action drama directed by Shibu Mitra, starring Naseeruddin Shah as Mangal Singh, Sunny Deol as Shankar, Chunky Pandey as Vijay, Neelam Kothari as Bindiya, and Sonu Walia as Bijlee.
The plot revolves around Shankar, who seeks revenge for his father's death at the hands of a bandit named Kala Daku. Shankar teams up with Mangal, a police inspector, and Vijay, a runaway convict, to take down Kala Daku. Shankar makes a living by driving a truck, while Mangal and Vijay masquerade as villagers to protect the village from Kala Daku's gang. The story takes a dramatic turn when Kala Daku abducts Vijay, and Mangal and the police force must negotiate to save him.
