Caffeine-Free Homemade Soda Recipes
Ingredients
Homemade Lemon Lime Soda:
1/2 cup lemon and lime's Juice (we used 1 lemon and 1/2 lime)
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 - 1 liter seltzer water or club soda
Homemade Orange Soda:
1/2 cup oranges juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 - 1 liter seltzer water or club soda
Homemade Blackberry Soda:
1/2 cups blackberries juice
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 - 1 liter seltzer water or club soda
Homemade Strawberry Soda:
1/2 cup strawberries juice
3 tablespoon sugar
1/2 - 1 liter seltzer water or club soda
Homemade Grape Soda:
1/2 cup grapes juice (we used seedless black grapes)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 - 1 liter seltzer water or club soda
Instructions:
For the Homemade Lemon Lime Soda:
1. Juice the lemon and lime to get fresh lemon lime juice.
2. Add 4 tablespoons sugar to the 1/2 cup lemon and lime juice, mixed up to the sugar dissolve.
3. After the sugar is dissolved, put the juice in the bottle. (we used a 16 ounce beer air tight bottle)
4. Fill up the bottle with the club soda or seltzer water. Slowly pour the water into the bottle.
5. Put it in the refrigerator to get nice and cold.
For the Homemade Orange Soda:
1. Juice the oranges to get fresh orange juice. You can either strain the pulp from this juice or leave it as is. To strain it, press the juice through a fine mesh strainer.
2. Add 2 tablespoons sugar to the 1/2 cup orange juice, mixed up to the sugar dissolve.
3. After the sugar is dissolved, put the juice in the bottle.
4. Fill up the bottle with the club soda or seltzer water. Slowly pour the water into the bottle.
5. Put it in the refrigerator to get nice and cold.
For the Homemade Blackberry Soda ( Strawberry soda, or Grape soda )
1. Add fresh blackberries ( Strawberries, or Grapes ) to a blender and quickly puree them.
2. Then transfer the blended blackberries ( Strawberries, or Grapes ) to a fine mesh strainer so we can press through the juice into a bowl below. You may need to add a little water to help it out in case it get’s too thick. Repeat with the remaining blackberries ( Strawberries, or Grapes ) until you have all the condensed juice in your bowl.
3. Add sugar to the 1/2 cup juice, mixed up to the sugar dissolve.
4. . After the sugar is dissolved, add that juice to the bottom of the bottle.
5. slowly add the club soda or seltzer water to the bottle, all the way up to the top.
6. Put it in the refrigerator to get nice and cold.
