静岡県伊豆河津町の河津桜を見てきました（2025年3月1日）。
今年は、河津桜発見から70年だそうです。
河津川堤防添いの桜並木は、昭和50年頃から植栽されたので、最長で50年ぐらいなんですね。
河津桜の寿命はどれ程なのかわかりませんが、あと50年ぐらいは咲き続けてほしいですね。
開花状況は、全体的には7部咲き～満開で見頃でした。
例年、河津桜の原木は、川沿いよりも少し早めに見頃を迎えていますが、
今年は河津川沿いの桜と同時に満開を迎えたので両方楽しめました。
河津まつりは、3月9日まで延長されています。

This year is the 70th anniversary of the discovery of Kawazu cherry trees.
The rows of cherry trees along the Kawazu River embankment were planted around 1975, so the longest they have been there is about 50 years.
We do not know how long the life span of Kawazu cherry trees is, but we hope they will continue to bloom for another 50 years or so.
Overall, the blooming conditions were at their best with 7 parts in bloom to full bloom.
Usually, though, the original Kawazu cherry trees are at their best a little earlier than those along the river,
This year, they were in full bloom at the same time as the cherry trees along the Kawazu River, so we were able to enjoy both.

・満開：川の中央より山側（来宮橋～豊泉橋～かわづいでゆ橋）、河津駅周辺、河津桜原木
・7部咲き：川の中央付近（荒倉橋～来宮橋）
