The southernmost point of the Izu Peninsula, where no railways run, is a place where spring has arrived again this year in Minamiizu Town, an area with few people and cars, and an idyllic atmosphere where untouched nature remains. Every year from early February to early March, 800 Kawazu cherry trees and rape blossoms bloom along the banks of the Aono River, painting the whole area in a world of vibrant pink and yellow.
