Video Not Working? Fix It Now

What's up with the texture of the Zoar medium-high gain distortion? EQD has released a variety of dirt pedals, and there are countless dirt pedals that exist in the pedal market. What Jamie originally wanted to come up with was “modeled after the sound of a dimed Fuzz Face, but the volume on guitar down a bit played through a Fender amp. But that's obviously not enough for him so he borrowed the idea of the EQ section on Fender amps and built it into the Zoar! He achieved that Fuzz Face vibe in the distortion and that became Zoar Dynamic Audio Grinder!

The weight knob controls the signal that’s coming into the circuit, and if you turn it counterclockwise, the sound gets tighter, and it’s more like distortion. When you turn it up past noon, you start to get that fuzzy texture in the sound. So this knob sets the overall dirt texture.

The 3-band EQ should work well with any amps and dirt pedals you might pair and great with single coil or humbucker pickups. Each EQ point doesn’t work independently, so even if you move one of the EQ knobs, it would alter other frequencies, so we suggest you start from everything at noon. Turn one knob at the time to hear how Zoar is reacting to your tweaking.

It's definitely not difficult to dial in and rather unique voicing using the Weight knob, so please enjoy this sound where you can freely move between distortion and fuzz territories!
