Thanks for joining me today its been a few weeks since I've been on the lake due to work and other things. The heat and rain has really been a big factor for us in south Mississippi. This morning was a struggle in locating the crappie I finally was able to find them in open water and in schools, what a treat to look around and finally find them. I caught a 2.78 black crappie probably one of my biggest summer time crappie ever. My set up was 13ft Jenko pole, 1/16oz jig head, dirty milk, hair jig, #3 or #4 split shot, and 10lb test line Mono.
