Khaptad National Park is located in the Far western region of Nepal. The Khaptad National Park was established in 1984 and is best known to be the garden of countless herbs and over 224 species of medicinal herbs covering an area of 225 sq. km. Khaptad National Park stretches over four districts of the region namely Bajhang, Bajura, Achham, and Doti.
