Khira Poda Pitha (ଖୀର ପୋଡ଼ ପିଠା) is a traditional sweet delicacy from Odisha, especially popular during Raja Festival (ରଜ ପର୍ବ). It is a rich, creamy dessert made by baking a thick mixture of milk (khira), rice, sugar or jaggery, and sometimes coconut and dry fruits. “Poda” means burnt or baked, and “Pitha” refers to a type of cake or sweet dish.
