Retro Odyssey ep.016
An IN-DEPTH review, analysis, and retrospective of Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Famicom Disk System.
Kid Icarus's Japanese Name:
(光神話 パルテナの鏡) Hikari Shinwa: Parutena no Kagami; "Light Myth: Palutena's Mirror")
This is an exhaustive look at a game that if not for Smash Bros seems lost to time. In this video I'll cover everything in the game, the structure of the game, my personal experience, and how I feel it stacks up to its contemporaries from the context of a first-time player who didn't grow up with an NES.
This one was particularly taxing to produce, but I really hope you enjoy it! 💗
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
