What should have packed, glad I packed and should have left home from a beginner hiker who just summited Kilimanjaro.
I did a lot of research and leaned on my friends with experience to buy and pack the right gear plus extras. Mt Kilimanjaro is challenging because you pass through 5 types of ecosystems and need to prepare for the cold summit and adjusting to altitude, which was my biggest challenge.
I should have added silk liner socks which are worth the money (no blisters!)
