At present, there are 103 places to worship Hai Ba Trung and their generals in nine provinces and cities across the country.
It is the birthplace of the two sisters Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, two famous Vietnamese heroines who rode elephants to lead their troops to defeat the foreign invaders. Here they proclaimed themselves the new empresses after gaining independence for the country in the early years of Vietnam (40-43AD). Hai Ba Trung Temple is located in Ha Loi village, Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi. The temple is a place of cultural and spiritual activities of local people. It reminds the locals, as well as visitors, of the two national heroines Trung Trac and Trung Nhi.
Every year, Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival takes place in the first month of the lunar New Year.
The festival consists of several rituals such as incense offerings, commemorative meetings and traditional rituals.
