This video shows trains arriving, departing, and passing through Takeda Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line and Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line during the weekday evening rush hour in Japan (from around 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.). The video shows Kintetsu Limited Express trains arriving and departing from Kyoto, Kintetsu Kyoto Line express trains stopping at the station, and local (local) Kintetsu trains and Kyoto Municipal Subway (Kyoto City Transportation Bureau) trains.
The video shows Kintetsu's new 8A series trains, which began operation in October 2024. There are three trains in the video, two express trains bound for Kashihara-Jingu-mae and one express train bound for Kyoto.
There were also many new 20 series trains of the Kyoto Municipal Subway, which began operation in 2022.
The Kintetsu Limited Express trains shown in the video are the Aoniyoshi, Vista EX, Sunny Car, Ace, and ACE.
The Karasuma subway line, which shares tracks with Kintetsu, merges with the Kintetsu Kyoto line at this station, with trains arriving and departing from the two-sided, four-track platform, and the entrance to an underground tunnel can be seen on the Kyoto side of the station. Many trains bound for Takeda from Kokusaikaikan subway stop at this station, and after arriving at platform 2, they enter a siding, turn around and enter platform 3, departing for Kokusaikaikan.
Flip-up information displays are used on the platforms for trains departing and arriving at Kintetsu Kyoto Station (platforms 1 and 4).
The first half of the video was filmed from the platform for Yamato-Saidaiji, and the second half from the platform for Kyoto and Kokusaikaikan.
