I know everyone loves the press and chop dicers (vegetable dicers that you push down) and they're great too, but I prefer using something like this so I can do large batches at a time. With the press and chop you'll have more prep work in addition to possibly having to use all of your force to get it to chop. It can be a bit of a hassle with harder veggies.
