Hello and welcome back to another video!
First up we see train 624 with dl 9285 at George’s drive level crossing in Napier. It was a decent train of logs. We heard the train do a very long train horn as it was coming into Owen street because of an idiot driver who drove infront of the train and almost got hit. Thank you to the friendly locomotive engineer who gave us a few friendly horns! 😃
Second we see train 624 with dl 9509 at the 179th kilometre post on the Palmerston North to Gisborne railway line. It was a decent train of logs. Thank you to the friendly locomotive engineer who gave us a friendly wave as he was going past us!
Third we see train 624 again with dl 9509 at the bridge street north level crossing just before the ahuriri yards.
Last off we see train 620 with dl 9538 at Jull street in Napier. It was a decent train of containers and curtainsiders. It was very unusual seeing it arrive into Napier very late at around 7pm. Dl 9285 was the locomotive that was originally supposed to be leading 620 but it broke down at waipukurau and they had to send out a dl to rescue the train and bring it into Napier.
