In this video, I'm taking you on a walking tour of the beautiful Christmas markets in Köln (Cologne), Germany. Filmed in end of November 2024, the tour covers all the main markets, beautiful christmas lights and, of course, the stunning Cologne Cathedral. We begin our walk at Heumarkt, then head over to Alter Markt. Next, we visit shortly Roncalliplatz before finishing in front of the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, near the main station. Along the way, you'll experience Cologne's grand, beautifully decorated Christmas markets, filled with unique gifts and delicious German food that we sometimes can sample. Köln's Christmas market attracts around 4 million visitors annually, making it the second most visited in Germany. Every year, this festive city invites people from all over the world to enjoy a magical Christmas stroll.
The entire walking tour is captured in stunning 4K HDR at 60fps with binaural audio, offering a fully immersive experience. The temperature on the day of recording was around 9°C. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Christmas season in Cologne!
