Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) uses a Virtual Assistant that integrates with its maintenance systems, allowing users to retrieve critical equipment information through an intuitive conversational interface. The presentation covers a short demo and architecture deep-dive for the audience, showcasing how the assistant’s conversational interface uses Bedrock LLMs to enable rapid access to equipment information and accelerate troubleshooting. The solution leverages advanced graph query generation capabilities to quickly identify required parts, extracts from manuals, and troubleshooting steps from over 2 million data points and 20 million relationships, to significantly reduce the time spent on maintenance tasks, and improve equipment uptime.
