40 year old Kodachrome Slide digitising with Nikon ES2 & ES1. D850 DSLR & Mirrorless. Incredible colours in the Kodachrome, even after 40 years.
This video demonstrates some of the set up and practical aspects of using the Nikon ES2 and ES1 slide copying/digitizing system to photograph 35mm slide, transparency film.
The slide copying equipment used is:
Nikon D850
Nikkor 60mm f2.8 AF-S lens.
ES1 - Slide film copy system.
ES2 - Slide/Negative film copy system.
I filmed this video with my Nikon Z6 with a Leica manual 35mm f1.4 lens, wide open on f1.4 plus the Megadap auto focus adapter, which provides auto focus function to the manual lens. The Megadap autofocus adapter is available directly from Megadap.
