On KBS World Radio’s Japanese broadcast, we explore the lives of Japanese people thriving in Korea.
This time, we introduce singer Rie Utagokoro. Born in Japan in 1973, she has walked the path of a singer for nearly 30 years since her debut in 1995.
In Korea, she became popular after appearing on a television program showcasing singers from both Korea and Japan.
With her clear, resonant voice and dignity as the oldest participant on the show, she transcended the language barrier and touched the hearts of Korean viewers.
