Mabuhay! 안녕하세요! Ako si Jinyong!
I used to live in Bangkok, Thailand for about 3-4 years. Did everyone know that? So anyway...I have some friends in Thailand and we still keep in touch each other though we no longer live in the same country. Roughly around a month ago, I just suddenly miss my friends in Bangkok and was so eager to go visit them.
It was so nice to see my friends again in Bangkok and we spent a good time together. What did I do with them in Bangkok? Of course, I didn't forget to bring my foreign friends to the Filipino restaurant in Bangkok! It was actually bit hard to find a Filipino restaurant as it seemed to have only one or two in Bangkok, but luckily I could finally find the place where I can have nice authentic Filipino dishes.
For 3 of my foreign friends, Takashi(Japan), Trillion(Myanmar) and Pierre(Thailand), I ordered many different kinds of Filipino dishes I really like. We started eating from Kare-kare and Caldereta. Then it went up to Bulalo and Sisig and finally ended up with eating Lechon Kawali! It sounds pretty a huge portion, isn't it?
Though I paid everything for a meal I had with my foreign friends in Bangkok, I was so happy to see my foreign friends to enjoy Filipino dishes! Hope it was a chance for them to learn more about the Philippines :D
Special thanks to "New Mabuhay Restaurant" in Bangkok!
Food there was super nice and everyone was so kind! I felt Filipino hospitality in Bangkok,Thailand :)
