Kashmir Pahalgam Terror Attack Updates : In a significant retaliatory move, India has decided to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance on Tuesday. The decision was taken during the meeting of the Cabinet Committee of Security (CCS) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other highly-placed officials.
The decision comes in the wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that has reignited calls to revisit the decades-old water-sharing agreement with Pakistan.
