"Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha" is well-known as the first solo thematic dance presentation which made history when it was first presented by Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam in 1975. Like the hero of this subject, Krishna, this program too is still popular.
With the strength of gurukulavasam, Mahati Kannan, a direct disciple and grand-niece of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, grew up watching her Guru perform this production several times. It is indeed a great blessing for Mahati that Dr. Padma decided to teach her Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha directly to present on stage.
Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha portrays Krishna in his varied dimensions - as the divine baby and growing child, the undaunted little dancer, the heroic husband, the friend, the protector, and the Supreme Preacher.
