First time I rode this bike I had wondered if it was a toy version of the it’s bigger brothers, the 890 and 1290. I couldn’t think of any smaller capacity bikes that have so much packed in to them. I then tested the bigger KTM’s and realised that it was a serious mini adventure bike. So I wanted to ride it again to make sure my first impressions weren’t wrong.
