My first trip to Burt Dam posed tough challenging. I was concerned about the bait selection. I had on my own design baits with me (mermaid lure and K mini tube). Sometimes steelhead reacted to different bait size, colors, and shapes. Sometimes they prefer live bait over other baits. It was very day tough day fishing for us because fish responded very slow to our team bait, but I saw many caught using jerk bait. Our team did catch some fish, but it was very tough day for us. We were so happy that we did not get skunked. This was one the place that I switched to many different colors, sizes, and shapes. I usually changed two to three colors and was able to few fish. I switched from different colors and finally found the right color. I want to say thank you for your support the channel.
