INGREDIENTS
For the kwek-kwek:
4 chicken eggs, boiled
10 to 15 quail eggs, boiled
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fine black pepper
pinch of orange food color or annatto powder
1/4 cup flour, for dredging
cooking oil
For the manong sauce:
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
6 tablespoons soy sauce
2 red chilies, chopped
1 onion, minced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
cooking oil
