Julie introduces us to Kylie, her 1928 350cc Velocette MKI KN. The first overhead camshaft Velocette engine, the Model K, was designed by Percy Goodman, of the Veloce-founding Goodman family, in 1923, though it was 1925 before the engine made it to production.
In 1926 Alec Bennett won the TT riding a Velocette, the first of many successes on the Isle of Man for the Velocette OHC engine.
Camera bike is Rick Bailey’s 1952 AJSless.
Riding shots taken around the beautiful lanes of Romney Marsh.
PS we are saving up for an Insta 360 camera so we can ditch the selfie-stick!
