Unfortunately, it was the last night of my stay in Kyoto.
First I went to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was nearby but had not been visited.
Then I walked to Gion.
Gion is still home to traditional maiko and geisha, and if you look closely you can see their names on small signs in stores.
From Gion, I walked through several shopping streets in Shijo-Karasuma.
It is the most lively area in Kyoto with lots of people.
I would recommend this area for shopping.
Especially if you are on a long trip, you can find cheap and good quality travel equipment at UNIQLO, GU, mont-bell, Daiso, etc. in this area.

残念ながら京都での滞在の最後の夜になってしまいました。
まず近くでありながら行っていなかった京都御所へ。
その後、東山地区から祇園まで歩きました。
祇園には今も伝統的な舞妓や芸子がおり、よく見るとお店の小さな看板に彼女たちの名前が書いてあるのが分かります。
祇園から四条烏丸のいくつかの商店街を歩きました。
人が多く京都で最も活気のある地域です。
買い物をするならこの辺りがおすすめですね。
特に長い旅行の人はこのエリアのユニクロ・GU・mont-bell・ダイソーなどで安くて品質の良い旅行道具が揃えられるでしょう。
