一年坂(一念坂)、二年坂(二寧坂)、三年坂(産寧坂)は、古くから清水寺の参道の一部として栄えてきました。坂道の両側には、京都らしい和風の建物が並び、その多くが土産物屋です。近くには高台寺や八坂の塔もあり、清水寺を中心とする観光ルートとして人気。民家の向こうに見える三重の塔、点在する寺院など、京都らしい雰囲気を楽しめるエリアです。
Ichinen-zaka (Ichinen-zaka), Ninen-zaka (Ninen-zaka), and Sannen-zaka (Sanneizaka) have prospered as part of the approach to Kiyomizu-dera since ancient times. Japanese-style buildings that are typical of Kyoto are lined up on both sides of the slope, many of which are souvenir shops. Kodaiji Temple and Yasaka Tower are also nearby, making it a popular sightseeing route centered on Kiyomizu Temple. It is an area where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto, such as the triple towers that you can see over the private houses and the temples that are scattered around.
