The new Panda is called Fiat Grande Panda because, as the name suggests, it is larger than the previous model, although it does not replace it in the Turin brand's price list.
The Fiat Grande Panda in fact joins the Fiat Panda (which remains on sale also with a version called Pandina) and also tries to occupy another space: the one left empty by the Fiat Punto which - among other things - was also marketed with the name Grande Punto without replacing the existing model, which from that moment took the name Punto Classic.
This is the first time we were able to test it on the road: so I'll tell you how it is made and how it goes.
The name of the Fiat Grande Panda immediately calls into question the dimensions, and so let's start with the measurements: the Grande Panda is 3.99 meters long, 1.57 meters high, 1.76 meters wide and has a wheelbase of 2.54 meters.
The smallest Fiat Panda, on the other hand, is 3.69 meters long, 1.55 meters high, 1.64 meters wide and has a wheelbase of 2.30 meters. And since I also mentioned the Grande Punto and the Punto classic, I remind you again that they were 4.05 meters and 3.86 meters long respectively.
