With the turing machine, its just triggers, on or off. The turing machine derives a pitch from the whole byte, the pattern of triggers in the 8 steps is converted into a voltage. So the same bit pattern would always result in the same voltage (ignoring the control available with the expanders). Labyrinth randomly assigns a voltage whenever a bit is flipped to active, decoupling rhythms and melodies, opening up a lot more possibilities. 0:00 Intro 1:26 Sequencer Explained 3:24 Corrupt Sequences 6:33 Wave Folding 8:25 Parallel Audio 10:16 Osc 2 as a mod vco 12:56 Parallel Control 15:19 I get lost and jam 17:04 Architecture Conclusions 18:38 Sawtooth Trick 22:51 Swing Tricks 25:40 I get lost and jam again 26:41 Full Groovebox Example 30:40 I get lost and jam a third time 33:56 Lowkey this patch is the best thing i did
