Changed my riding day to Saturday due to much snow being forecast for the Sunday so didn't fancy trying to get in and out of the Lakes with that amount of snow predicted. the trails were pretty slow going with quite a bit of sheet ice around
Nearly knocked myself out at the end on an overhanging thick branch 😵💫 and finished the ride in the dark 😬
Under the circumstances, the loop worked out quite well with just the right amount of tech for the conditions and good to do quite a bit of pedalling, 24 miles and 4,700ft elevation this one
