Lampshade design made magic on a quilt!

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This design is based on a lampshade I saw at a local coffee shop. It has some great ideas for how to build designs and how you can use simple markings to help keep the design on track: I used the following tools: Crosshair square Donelle’s Sew Biz ruler 2” Simple Circle The Back to Back 1.5” 2 pc set, The Grandleaf 4.5” That starter square is an 8” on point square. The inner motif finished about 5.5” and was create using the marked corners for a 6” block. (The grand leaf templates align to the 6” marked corner and sew in 1/4” shy of the corner.) The border were created with the Back to back templates using mirroring curves from the center positions as shown in the video.
