In this video I'm in Glen Falloch, Scotland.
It is a stunning and dramatic location, ideal for landscape photography, especially for Capturing the National tree of Scotland, The Scot's Pine.
A very under-rated Glen and most visited for it's waterfall, the Falls of Falloch.
Safety Considerations:
Parts of Glen Falloch are remote and distanced from the road, separated by the River Falloch, challenging, especially in winter or bad weather, so be prepared for the conditions. Bring a map, compass, and potentially a GPS device.
Always check the weather forecast, including the mountain forecast MWIS and (if there's snow on the mountains) the avalanche forecast, as the weather can change rapidly, especially in the mountains.
Sunset to Sunrise Photography: If you're keen on capturing both sunset and sunrise, plan your camp in a location that allows easy access to both views. The area's lighting changes dramatically, and having the flexibility to move to the best spots during these times is a great advantage.
