Today, I’m venturing deep into my local woodland to capture that fleeting, ethereal beauty—where soft light, shifting fog, and moody tones come together to create something truly special. Join me as I explore, compose, and chase the perfect misty woodland shot.
In this week's episode, I wander through my local woodland, enveloped in a mesmerising shroud of atmospheric mist. Amongst the towering grandeur of the ancient beech trees, their statuesque forms pierce the fog like silent sentinels, I find myself immersed in a world of muted tones and delicate contrasts. The woodland floor, a rich tapestry of burnt copper leaves, creates a vivid mosaic beneath my feet, while a few tenacious leaves cling bravely to their whispering branches. My journey is one of discovery, as I seek out compelling compositions that capture not only the breathtaking beauty but also the ethereal mood and profound emotions of this enchanting scene.
