This LARGE junk journal is made from an antique Nebraskana tome from 1932. The Nebraskana was a book published with biographies of notable Nebraskans. It was a large, beautiful book in fairly good condition for the age. Many of the original pages are used in the junk journal and made useable by many different methods, including white washing, collage, blank papers applied, etc. The middle fold of all the original pages have been reinforced with masking tape or other papers. Would work very nicely for an artist's sketch book/diary. The journal is approximately 11" x 8" and contains 10 signatures with at least 8 pages each for 320+ total pages. The inside cover has been reinforced with kraft-tex, book binding tape and fabric. A 5 hole pamphlet stitch secures the signatures into the hollow back spine. The book, when open, lies flat. John James Audubon bird images are mixed in throughout the book and other bits and pieces scattered around as well. A few pocket/tuck spots have been put in to increase page count and give extra storage. It's very unique and a fun conversation piece. https://www.etsy.com/listing/927452465/large-10-signature-junk-journal-320 From smoke free home.
