Neil Scallan (UK) gets his Monopoly collection officially verified by Guinness World Records adjudicators.
Monopoly is a popular board game where players aim to accumulate wealth and bankrupt their opponents. The game is set on a square board with spaces representing properties, utilities, railroads, and special spaces like Chance and Community Chest.
Players buy, sell, and trade properties, collecting rent from opponents who land on them. The goal is to build monopolies by purchasing and upgrading properties with houses and hotels. Players use dice to move around the board and can face challenges such as paying taxes, facing jail, or drawing cards that affect their financial standing. The game ends when only one player remains financially solvent.
