Last Action Hero was a very entertaining but poorly executed film. Although the writing was pretty funny, the story was way too absurd to make any real sense. The performances from the actors were subpar and the music was unremarkable. On the other hand, the absurdity was so bad that I think it worked on some level but apart from the novelty of the premise, I don’t think this movie has too much to offer; although I do believe films like this do have a place in history. I’d recommend this film if you want to laugh for 2 hours without having to use your brain. As for the question I asked at the beginning of the video: Has this film aged well? It’s a 50-50 from me. It’ll work for some; others will think it’s pretty bad. Personally, I don’t think it was a waste of my time.
