Easingtons last match of the season was fished yesterday thanks to all 21 anglers that turned up. 6 lads met up for a breakfast at 9am and after much discussion they where all set for a day scratching at oldhall with hopes to snag a cod.
At sign in there was rumours that oldhall was busy with other clubs out before us, this made the lads change there minds and all spread out along the southern beaches.
A real tough day once again with only 2 cod weighed in amongst a few flattys and a lovely sole caught by Ashley Bentley
It was a tight battle for 3rd place in the league between Mark Botterill and Dan Broughton, Dan didn’t weigh in and Mark managed 1 flatty, unfortunately that wasn’t enough to take 3rd place!
Mystery pairs where drawn back at the weigh in
1st Jordy & Garry 3lb 1oz. £80
2nd Yukka & Gordy 2lb 9oz £60
3rd Steve adlard & Paul Copley £28
Paul at Castle Cafe Withernsea donated a breakfast voucher to Easington club, it was decided amongst members that it would go to who ever had biggest fish of the day this was Steve adlards cod.
Many thanks to Paul for donating the voucher very kind of you.
Prize money was also given out last night for the following

1st Jordan Critchley £75
2nd Yukka £50

Gordy for helping yukka with sign ins
Sue for helping with the pay outs at the weigh in.

Mally for a top job on the scales who now needs a lie down after so many flattys this year!
