☀️ WELCOME! ☀️ Join me for this BEGINNER FRIENDLY complete quilt tutorial made from 1 layer cake! Is your LAYER CAKE ? stash out of control??? Mine is and it's time to make some quilts! I'm so excited to share this tutorial. This quilt is NUMBER FIVE in the series ! I made a COMPLETE QUILT on my domestic machine in 4 HOURS!!! A lovely and fast way to get some LAYER CAKES moved on to their next life. This plan is BEGINNER FRIENDLY! It's easy, forgiving, and so fast!
DETAILS ON MEASURING: The blocks are 9.5" x 9.5" after squaring up, and the quilt top is 6 blocks by 6 blocks. The total measurement on this top is a little less than 60" x 60". A very nice lap or child quilt size. I used almost the entire layer cake package. I used my own batting and some 108" backing from my stash. Stay tuned as I continue to work through my layer cake stash!
