In this Power BI DAX tutorial, you learn how to use DAX (data analysis expressions) step by step.

Once we've uploaded the dataset into Power BI, we can start with the expressions. In total, we cover 8 types of expressions. We also cover the difference between a measure and a calculated column. First, we do a simple SUM, then we do a DISTINCTCOUNT, followed by a measure with. multiple functions. Fourth, we use the DIVIDE function, which accounts for divided by zero errors.
Then, we hop into the data view to use calculated columns to calculate the profit and profit margin. Then, we use logical functions like an IF, and a nested IF statement to categorize values. Finally, we use the CALCULATE function to find the revenue filtered by beverage brand.
