Many fighters are completely crushed after they lost a fight, to Bas it was always simply a "wake up call", time to get even better.
When you lose and after that loss you lose again by the same attack/submission that you lost with the first time, yeah, then you can be angry because then it's completely on you.
After Bas lost three times by way of submission (different submissions), he got angry, he found ONE training partner and started focussing on submissions ONLY and what do you know? He never lost a fight again, so that loss made him the fighter he wanted to be.
He always talks about this, if he can do it, anybody can do it, sure he had some talent, but he also had work ethic, a lot of it, and that got him where he wanted to be
Here he talks about the losses he had, but then later won a fight with the exact same move that made him lose, that's learning from your mistakes, you do that, you actually become a stronger fighter after a loss.
So losing isn't bad, it's what you do with it that sets you apart from either being a Champion or just practitioner
He also talks about different mistakes he made inline and/or fighting
